We are seeking a motivated Science Technician to coordinate the use of resources and facilities, provide assistance, and offer expert advice to meet the practical needs of the science curriculum. This role involves working closely with teaching staff and support teams both within and outside of the department.
This position is an excellent opportunity for a qualified and/or experienced candidate to join our team. Essential requirements include strong organisational and problem-solving skills, a positive and focused attitude, and a solid knowledge base in Chemistry, Physics, and Biology. We are particularly interested in a technician who is eager to contribute to our core strategic pillars of learning, enrichment, and well-being.

The successful candidate will:
Have prior experience as a lab technician, preferably in a school.
Be able to contribute towards supporting high quality education for all students in their care and improving the quality of learning and standards of achievements, under the instruction/guidance of teaching staff.
Be innovative, creative, enthusiastic, highly motivated and able to show a passion for learning.
Demonstrate an awareness of the key factors that can affect the way students learn.
Work with the teaching staff to ensure students flourish by creating a positive climate for learning, supporting the holistic development of each student, with a strong emphasis on well-being in an intercultural context.
Have excellent interpersonal skills, high levels of emotional intelligence and a good sense of humour, effectively collaborating within a range of teams.
Fully support the school Mission, Vision and Motto.
Have KSA residency status.

BISR teachers should possess the following:
Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher status.
Certificate of Education (PGCE or B.Ed).
Relevant training or qualifications for the specific post.
Understanding:
