We are seeking to appoint an appropriately qualified and experienced Intensive Needs Support Assistant for our Senior School. This is a full time position within the school’s Support for Learning department, which comprises highly committed and motivated Support for Learning staff who work collaboratively and imaginatively to provide an enriching learning experience for our students.

The successful candidate will:
Be enthusiastic, highly motivated and with a strong track record of working within a similar type of role.
Demonstrate previous experience working with children in either a medical or learning environment.
Hold qualifications relating to the education and/or care of children and young people.
Be proactive in their approach providing learning and medical support to primary and/or senior students in mainstream classes and on a 1:1 basis.
Show confidence in working with young children in and outside a classroom.
Have excellent interpersonal skills, high levels of emotional intelligence and be able to deal effectively and work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders and teams.
Fully support the school Mission, Vision and Motto.
