We are seeking to appoint appropriately qualified and experienced Intensive Needs Support Assistants to work with individual students who have complex learning and medical/physical needs. This is a full time position and involves supporting one or more students.

The successful candidates will:
Be enthusiastic, highly motivated and with a strong track record of working within a similar type of role.
Demonstrate previous experience working with children in either a medical or learning environment.
Hold qualifications relating to the education and/or care of children and young people.
Be proactive in their approach providing learning and medical support to primary and/or senior students in mainstream classes and on a 1:1 basis.
Show confidence in working with young children in and outside a classroom.
Have excellent interpersonal skills, high levels of emotional intelligence and be able to deal effectively and work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders and teams.

BISR teachers should possess the following:
Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher status.
Certificate of Education (PGCE or B.Ed).
Relevant training or qualifications for the specific post.
Understanding:
Appreciation of a British school's demands in an international context.

Understanding of intercultural awareness and cultural sensitivity.
Recognition of responsibility for students' holistic growth and well-being.
Experience:
Experience in various contexts (UK and international).
Experience teaching within a Key Stage or subject.

Experience with second language students or willingness to train.
