Position Overview

The Head of Boarding is a key leadership role responsible for the overall management and development of the boarding program at ISA Wuhan International School. This position will ensure that the boarding experience is safe, supportive, and conducive to students' personal, academic, and social development. The Head of Boarding will work closely with boarding staff, students, parents, and other school departments to maintain high standards of care and provide a nurturing environment where students can thrive outside the classroom. The role requires a compassionate, organized, and proactive leader committed to fostering a positive and enriching boarding experience.

Job Purpose

Head of Boarding oversees all aspects of the boarding program, including student welfare, residential management, and academic support. The role requires leadership in ensuring that all boarding students feel safe, supported, and part of a cohesive school community. Head of Boarding will manage a team of boarding staff, develop and implement boarding policies and procedures, and collaborate with the wider school leadership team to align the boarding program with the school’s mission and values.
