ISA International Education Group is looking for a professional candidate who is a highly experienced international education leader, with a passion and eagerness for the start-up school context at ISA Guangzhou Schools.

Key Accountabilities

  • oversees the planning, launch and development of an outstanding Primary School
  • oversee all elements of the programmes, policies and procedures which impact the effective delivery of teaching and learning, as well as programmes beyond the classroom.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of a highly effective, safe and enjoyable Primary School
  • Lead and manage the Primary School staff, teaching and non-teaching, ensuring that the School expectations of service and exceptional standards are delivered by every staff member in the Primary School every day
  • Take a hands-on approach to lead the way with regards the highest levels of teaching and learning, whilst also being actively involved in the broader programmes of the Primary School
  • Operational elements include oversight of timetabling, curriculum development and delivery, facility management, co-curricular programmes, experiential learning and all other elements critical to the opportunities specifically provided within the Primary School
  • Participate in the recruitment process for all academic and support staff
  • Setting and maintaining high standards of service throughout the school

 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor Degree or above, preferably in Education,
  • Evidence of continued professional development
  • Educational leadership at least at a Senior Leadership Team level in international educational institutions within China will be given preference
  • Experience in an international school environment
  • Curriculum development within schools and within systems
