We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vice Principal Academic to strategically lead and enhance academic excellence and operational efficiency across all of our campuses. The successful candidate will be responsible for upholding the highest academic standards, ensuring exceptional teaching practices, and driving continuous improvement in student performance, particularly within the GCSE, A-Level, and IB programs. This pivotal role requires close collaboration with the school leadership team to advance BISR's mission of delivering a world-class education.

Key Requirements for Vice Principal Academic:
Visionary leadership with the ability to inspire and engage staff, students, and stakeholders.
Expertise in data analysis and its strategic application to improve academic outcomes.
Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to lead by example, work effectively with the school’s leadership, inspire teams, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and manage change.
Possess in-depth understanding of the curriculum (GCSE, A-Level, IB), internal and external examinations procedures, as well as current best practices in teaching and learning.
Advanced understanding of curriculum design, assessment practices, and pedagogy.
Think innovatively and strategically to develop strategies that align with the school’s goals for maintaining and improving academic and operational excellence.
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to employ a meticulous approach to overseeing academic and operational systems, ensuring that all standards and regulations are met.
Resilience, adaptability, and a passion for upholding the highest academic and operational standards, ensuring the school continues to excel and maintain its reputation.

Bachelor’s degree and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

BISR teachers should possess the following:
Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher status.
Certificate of Education (PGCE or B.Ed).
Relevant training or qualifications for the specific post.
Understanding:
Appreciation of a British school's demands in an international context.

Understanding of intercultural awareness and cultural sensitivity.
Recognition of responsibility for students' holistic growth and well-being.
Experience:
Experience in various contexts (UK and international).
Experience teaching within a Key Stage or subject.
