Major Responsibilities   

1. Develop innovative learning and teaching methods, materials, curricula, and activities to meet the needs of students.
2. Integrate science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics into cohesive projects.
3. Facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration with other teachers.
4. Ensure that STEAM initiatives are integrated into the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) and promote inquiry-based learning.
5. Create and facilitate engaging STEAM projects, clubs, and extracurricular activities that encourage student participation and creativity.
6. Develop assessment strategies to measure student learning and progress in STEAM subjects.
7. Inspiring children to learn.  
8. Ensuring the creativity and high quality of teaching and learning in the class.   
9. Create a safe, inclusive, and collaborative learning environment.

Key Requirements :

1. University degree and a recognized qualification (such as PGCE) in STEAM-related Education.
2. Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in STEAM, ideally with experience in an international educational setting.  
3. Experience in teaching second language learners.  
4. Strong knowledge and/or experience in the PYP curriculum framework.   
5. Curriculum development knowledge.   
6. Be inter-culturally aware with well-developed interpersonal skills.   
7. Be committed to ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.   
8. Be collaborative and able to work as part of a team.

General Requirements for International Teaching Positions

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in relevant subject area
• A recognized teaching qualification (e.g. BEd, PGCE)
• Minimum two years experience of classroom teaching in mainstream education sector
• Previous experience of teaching the IB curriculum is preferred, high potential candidates without IB experience might be considered
• Well-versed in various teaching resources including digital tools to support and enhance teaching and learning
• Sensitivity to the cultural differences
• A willingness to actively participate in the academic enrichment and co-curricular programmes
