We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to work alongside the Senior Nurse for 3 days/week from 7.45am to 2.45pm.

The ideal candidate will:

  • be registered with a current UK or equivalent registration;
  • be available to cover after school ECA (Extra Curricular Activities) and school trips;
  • be reliable, self-motivated, display initiative and be able to work as part of a team;
  • have good interpersonal skills;
  • have a minimum of four years’ experience post registration;
  • have paediatric nursing, A&E and school clinic experience (preferable);
  • be computer literate;
  • have KSA residency (essential);


The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • assess, treat and refer if necessary (for specialist treatment) any accident, injury or illness of any nature, of children and staff members;
  • provide comfort and support to the ill or injured and administer appropriate treatment;
  • liaise between teachers and children who are ill;
  • help, advise and support parents and staff members on health related matters;
  • teach health related topics as part of the Personal, Social & Health curriculum;
  • maintain a database of children with known medical conditions (asthma/allergies etc);
  • administer prescribed medications, check for dosage and expiry dates for replenishment;

Teachers who work at BISR should have


  • Qualified Teacher status;
  • Certificate of Education, First degree or equivalent;
  • Training or qualification relevant to the post.
