The Early Years Teacher's primary role is to inspire and build confidence in each young learner helping them to explore their environment and learn about their world through play and relationships with peers, teachers, family, and community members. With the support of the PYP Coordinator and Head of EY/Primary the teacher has the lead role in creating a play-based learning environment where a joy for school the foundations for further discovering language, mathematics, and inquiry skills are explored.  Teachers deliver holistic learning experiences that integrate socio-emotional, physical and cognitive development.

The requirements for a Work Visa in China include:

  • Teacher certification (PGCE, BEd...)
  • University degree from recognized "English" country
  • Two years full-time teaching experience
  • Clean Criminal Records check
  • Authenticated copies of application materials
