The International School of the Hague is looking for an excellent teacher of history.

The right candidate will be able to inspire and motivate students through their teaching of history in the MYP and, preferably, DP programmes. Willingness to teach integrated humanities in the MYP is required.

The successful candidate will be a team player who is highly motivated and fully embraces the school's ethos. They will be committed to delivering high quality learning experiences, which meet the needs of all students, regardless of their skills, attainment, and particular learning needs. Applicants must be willing to lead by example and play a full part in the school’s pastoral care and extra-curricular programme.

We are a forward thinking school and therefore we invest in potential future leaders as well as excellent teachers. We expect from our teachers to be skilled in using digital tools for teaching (example: MacBook Air, Touch Screen boards and Ipads). The chosen candidate will be reflective and embrace opportunities for Continuous Professional Learning.

An attractive and competitive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate, and details can be found on the ISH recruitment page. Please note that only candidates with full teaching certification in history and a valid teaching licence in their home country will be considered for this role.
